YMC Pathanamthitta Central Social Service Project

The members of YMC Pathanamthitta Central decided to celebrate Onam with the poor mentally challenged children of the Peace Valley School for the Mentally Retarded at Mallassery.
Comprehensive Onam food kits were distributed for all the 15 students .The function was presided by the Club President Ym.Jose Samuel . The meetings was inaugurated by the President of the District Panchayat .The keynote address was delivered by the President of the Pramadom Grama Panchayat .Ward member of the grama panchayat was also present.

The officials were full of appreciation of the charitable project . The school director thanked the club for helping the poorest of poor and the rejected .

YMC Pathanamthitta Central inaugurated and implemented the SWIR Regional Project 'Road Safety' on 31st August 2009 . The club has received amazing appreciation from all across India Area for the systematic implementation and for boosting the image of the movement.

Free medical camp for mentally challenged children

YMC Pathanamthitta Central is sworn to social service . It has been associated with the Peace Valley School for the Mentally Retarded at Mallassery for several years . A free medical camp was organized for the mentally challenged children and their family members on 31st December 2008 at the Town Hall , Pathanamthitta . An awareness programme was conducted .Free lunch and New Year cakes were provided for the participants.

The District Collector inaugurated the function . The District Panchayat President attended the function . YMC was represented by Ym. KK Cheriyanjee , the Club President and Ymt. Dr. Jaicy Philip (psychologist).
